How to make a call with a landline in Indonesia?
Phone numbers in Indonesia have different codes for cell phone numbers and landline numbers, the difference being that landline numbers use area codes, while cell phones do not. For landline numbers, the number '0' is used in front of the area code to make domestic calls around Indonesia, but does not need to be used when making calls from abroad. Instead, the caller will use the Indonesian country code +62, followed by the area code and the destination number without the '0' at the beginning. For mobile phone (GSM) calls from abroad, callers must use the +62 code instead of the '0', then can directly enter the destination number.
