Ubud can also be reached by sea by ship from major cities around Bali, such as from Surabaya, Lombok, Makassar, Ambon, or Merauke which anchored at Benoa Harbor, Denpasar. After arriving in Denpasar, the trip to Ubud can be continued with a distance of about 1 hour.
